I know it's not even CLOSE to Christmas yet - that's just how much I love this ballet.
Top Row (L to R): Clara (party scene), Clara (in her nightgown), Snow Queen, Butterfly, Flower (opening Land of Sweets scene), Sugar Plum Fairy, Marzipan.
Bottom Row (L to R): Spanish Ambassadress, Arabian Ambassadress, Chinese Ambassadress, Russian Ambassadress, Mother Ginger, Ginger Child, Flower (Waltz of the Flowers).
I went to see it last November, and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. It was an all-Russian cast, save for a few extras. I re-kindled my love for Drosselmeyer, Clara's godfather (or uncle, depending on the production). He had this sparkly black coat, and I was like "ZOMGIWANTS" all through the show.
Okay, I'll stop rambling.

These are really cute. My favorite is the Ginger Child, you made her look so adorable! I saw the ballet a few years ago at my local civic center. I think my sister went last year (I couldn't go with her, because our parents were out of town, and I had to stay with our grandmother. She's 88, and can't be left by herself, but that's another story). Do you have a favorite movement? Mine is "The Russian Dance."
